SOCIAL MEDIA JUNIOR MARKETING MANAGER - UK&I, PUMA UK

THE ROLE

PUMA UK are seeking a dynamic and creative Social & Media Junior Marketing Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will manage and grow PUMA UK's social media presence, align with global strategies, and drive engagement across key platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. You will lead collaborations with agencies and internal teams to execute innovative paid and organic campaigns, deliver results against KPIs, and stay ahead of digital trends. This position offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of PUMA’s digital marketing efforts in the UK and Europe.

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Account management of PUMA UK social media channels

  • Manage the integration of UKI in the global social media ecosystem

  • Direct & manage our Social Media agency

  • Planning and implementation of paid & organic social media and content campaigns to drive awareness, engagement and conversion

  • Drive alignment with our agency & brand managers, sports marketing, eCom, Global & Social Factory teams; develop content calendars & product/event content roadmaps/roll-outs

  • Project manage projects from the brainstorming stage to delivery of creative assets and implementation

  • Develop & facilitate engaging and innovative content creation for Instagram, TikTok & partner channels

  • Deliver analysis & reporting against KPIs

  • Keep track of digital and social trends so that PUMA can be an innovator on emerging platforms

  • Manage agency/support budget incl retainer and paid social.

  • Development of Paid Social strategy for Owned channels

  • Work with the campaign managers & paid media agencies for each campaign to support the social strategy, paid media campaigns, media content calendars, KPIs and reporting

  • Deliver and track digital content; UTM set up, URLS, image & copy performance

  • Provide expertise, insight and learnings on social strategy and PUMA platforms to stakeholders

  • Be the team’s eyes and ears into the social media landscape, providing insights into e.g. trends and platforms

  • Work with Business Operations to deliver relevant monthly/quarterly/campaign reporting

  • Monitor & report on key accounts social media platforms to track PUMA Share Of Voice 

YOUR TALENTS

  • Creativity and experience in content creation for different social channels

  • Passion & knowledgeable about social media, sport, lifestyle, culture and a proven marketing track record in consumer or lifestyle brand, or in agency

  • Experience of working hands on with Google Analytics, & influencer analytics tools (e.g. Tribe Dynamics)

  • Awareness of Microsoft Advertising, MS Office, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager

  • A proven track record of managing and delivery of social strategy & content and experience of managing Paid Media processes,

  • Motivated & creative social media expert & first mover on new trends 

  • Knowledge of emerging technologies in new media, with creative/strategic thinking to put into action

  • Demonstrated ability to lead & manage projects on challenging timelines

  • Budget management and organisation skills

  • Analytical skills to evaluate campaigns 

  • Experience in dealing with and managing external partners such as agencies

  • Must be detail oriented, resourceful, self-motivated

  • UK based with some travel within UKI and Europe

  • Tertiary education or equivalent; strong written & verbal communication skills

  • Experience in Adobe Suite such as Photoshop and Premier Pro is advantageous
