Young Artists creates environments that nurture artists and builds them long term careers. We are seeking a dedicated Management Assistant to support our team across a world class roster.
THE ROLE
The Management Assistant will work closely with managers and artists to support their day-to-day needs. Providing a robust administration, you will be expected to run communications between the artist, their primary manager and their wider teams including their label, live agent, publishing company, merch partner, lawyer, accountant, glam teams and assistants. Alongside the primary managers, you will be the first point of contact for our artists with ready access to all artist related assets and the ability to secure answers to time sensitive requests. Given the locations of our artists, you should be comfortable working across multiple time zones and projects at the same time. The position is full time and based at Young Space, our East London office, with opportunities for travel as you progress in your role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Clear, structured and regular communication with artists, managers and teams
Keeping detailed and accurate artist diaries
Planning and booking travel and accommodation
Producing schedules, itineraries and day sheets
Sourcing, contracting and organising glam teams
Collating and seeking approvals from artists
Creating and updating budgets
Securely filing and archiving all audio and visual assets
Assisting with all creative production
Overseeing tour announcements and marketing logistics
Coordinating social media teams, content creation and posting schedule
Assisting with merchandising
Supporting label teams with release campaigns
Liasing with brands to fulfil partnership obligations
Maintaining a focus on artist priorities and management strategy
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 2 years experience in artist management or project management for an established artist
Strong organizational and communication skills
Able to work independently and across multiple time zones
Comfortable with technology and digital communication tools
Confident with drafting and updating budgets
Basic knowledge of music industry contracts and rights management
Understanding of music release cycles and tour logistics
Knowledge of music publishing, sync licensing, and digital asset management
Familiar with social media platforms and analytics
Existing right to work in the UK long term
Valid passport with ability to travel internationally
