THE ROLE
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic PR and Brand Strategy Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and executing standout PR campaigns, managing a diverse client roster, and driving new business opportunities. This role demands creativity, strategic thinking, and a passion for the music and entertainment industries. You will have the autonomy to expand the brand PR side of the business while working with the most exciting talent and brands in the market.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Campaigns: Plan and execute impactful PR campaigns for AUGUST’s clients, including music talent, brands, and events.
Business Development: Drive new business opportunities, contribute to the agency’s new business strategies, and write compelling proposals.
Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with national and regional media across online, print, and digital platforms.
Partnership Development: Identify and develop commercial partnership opportunities for music and brand clients.
Event & Commitment Management: Manage promo commitments, and attend events, showcases, gigs, and sessions as needed to support clients.
Reporting: Deliver weekly reports on campaign progress and results.
REQUIREMENTS:
Proven PR experience with a minimum of 4 years in the entertainment industry.
Experience managing multiple accounts across brands, music, and entertainment.
A track record of securing top-tier placements in media and established relationships across digital, print, grassroots platforms, influencers, and playlist curators.
Demonstrated business development skills, with experience in writing proposals and securing new business.
Creative thinker with a passion for crafting narratives and executing innovative PR campaigns.
Strong communication and relationship-building abilities, with an emphasis on collaboration and client engagement.
Highly organised, self-reliant, and solution-oriented, able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
